Although we are without electric power as I post this,
our experience with Hurricane Hermine was a breeze.
Hurricane season lasts through October; this was our first
brush with a hurricane in 2016. The damage picture is
a current scene at the entrance to our street & not our
house. We count our blessings.

    • Oh, I can see that in your creative ways, Adrian. Plus, your having lived aboard, sailed along, that is life without the Big E.
We found our Internet came back Sun. nite, but I luxuriated & extended my home-break from it, to today.
Power was back Wed. afternoon, thanks to hardworking crews pulling long hours.

Lessons learned for next time: never enough candles on hand.

    • Hello dear Joanne. One of our dark chocolate bars is even called “Blackout.” Now that’s synchronicity. Traffic lights work again. Stores are open, we can walk to cozy spaces in our business district. We have it e-zee. Thanks a big bunch.
