Ampersand

Posted by bookseedstudio on September 24, 2008

We readers & teachers & artists & writers & dancers & storytellers

usually have a favorite punctuation,

& mine is the ampersand.

It derives from ET or et, Latin for “and.”

It is a logogram & the name is said to derive from

“and per se and the character & by itself is the word and”
